The business activities are commissioned from the fund raising institution “Södra Råda Old Church” within the frames of the Landscape and Cultural Heritage Organisation, called Västarvet, belonging to the Board of the Region of Västra Götaland.

We really hope that you will find your visit at this website interesting and that it leads to real meetings under the project's programme at Södra Råda Old Church or wherever there are activities arranged.

This is a model of Södra Råda Old Church made by the master-builder, Mr. Stig Nilsson. The model is constructed with its original medieval exterior, e.g. the vestibule at the western gable (to the left), which was added in the 17th century, is not added here. The southern portal was only visible from the inside and it was hidden by shavings on the outside.
